Strategic workshops and facilitation

Facilitation is a widely regarded process of guiding a group to use its knowledge, skills and potential to deliver innovative outcomes. Innovation is about human creativity, organised and applied across the organisation. Innovation is critical to the success of all organisations, large or small, in both private and public sectors. Facilitation is particularly useful when teams need to look at innovative solutions to problems / issues / future visions and plans.

How can we work with you?

APMHA HealthCare will tailor facilitation packages to suit your specific needs. We will help your team explore creative and innovative solutions to current organisational directions or challenges.

Whole Thinking workshop

The WholeThinking workshop works on the premise that the human brain thinks in a number of distinct ways. It is an interactive module that allows for group discussion, brainstorming and the use of whole brain thinking (using all quadrants) toward developing ideas / plans.  The WholeThinking workshop is a means to planning thinking processes in a detailed and cohesive way.

By improving the way both individuals and groups think, you can dramatically improve the number and ‘creativity’ of the ideas they have.

So what are your thinking preferences?  How does your tem ‘brainstorm’ new ideas?

This workshop helps both individuals and groups think ‘outside the box’ and focus on innovative solutions.

It is a great model for:

  • Anyone who needs to think creatively on the job and make creative solutions the norm
  • Anyone who needs good ideas
  • Anyone involved in innovation
  • Individual contributors and entire teams – maximising everyone’s potential and contribution
  • People who ‘chair’ critical meetings without emotions or egos
  • Those wanting to get the right solution quickly and with a shared, owned vision
Building organisational and workforce capacity

Capability enhancement focuses on the development of the individual or team through a range of measures that aim to achieve current agency goals, meet future challenges and build staff professional development.

Capability development places importance on people and their capacity to respond to rapidly changing working environment.  It can be viewed within a framework of continuous improvement for the benefit of individuals, teams, organisations and client groups.

Our focus when addressing workforce capability is about moving away from reactive service development and adhoc training, to programs which deliver current evidence based practice, reflect policy, relate to specifically identified needs and enhances workforce delivery.
