Bio

Renee is an experienced senior Executive, with an extensive history working with management and executive teams and Boards, overseeing governance, operational and strategic matters. Renee combines her passion for change and system redesign with sound executive management experience to help organisations improve wellbeing and performance. Renee has extensive experience working within primary care; from Divisions of General Practice, Medicare Locals and within the establishment and program modelling of primary health networks. As a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, Renee has worked in project and corporate consultancy for over 20 years within the primary care, youth, mental health and alcohol and other drug sectors.

Renee has expertise and qualifications in education and training, including RACGP QI&CPD accreditation, and provides tailored capacity building by designing programs which reflect the educational needs of the organisation and staff. Renee has extensive experience in working with organisations and companies to develop ‘fit for purpose’ mental health and wellness programs and has in-depth knowledge of the mental health sector ranging from public and private sector as well as corporate.

Bio

Jennifer is a Master Trainer for Mental Health First Aid, and is excited to deliver the new Older Persons package to the aged care sector. She has facilitated more than 30 MHFA courses for both the general community and for private businesses and continues to be a sought after instructor.

Jennifer is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with extensive experience in senior clinical positions in adult, child, adolescent, aged and indigenous mental health in public, private and indigenous health settings.  In her role as a APMHA Director, she has been involved in the implementation of cutting edge approaches in recruitment, credential auditing, supervision, support and mentoring of a national workforce. To find out more about Jennifer, please click here to view her MHFA Profile

Monique Ataryniw

Bio

Monique has completed her training as a Standard Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is excited to deliver this standard course across Victoria. She is currently completing the standard refresher training course, which will allow her to provide the 4-hour refresher course later this year. Monique has a background in education, welfare and IT and currently works for the Australian Primary Mental Health Alliance as the Education and Marketing Coordinator. In her past roles, Monique has supported the implementation of differentiated learning programs in Brisbane and Melbourne schools and has volunteered to deliver in community respite programs and adult English classes. Monique is passionate about supporting those experiencing chronic pain as she understands how difficult it can be to navigate supports, information and pathways while also maintaining optimal mental health and well being.

Sharyn Amos

Mental Health Skills Facilitator
Bio

Sharyn is a Registered Nurse with 20+ years specialty experience in Mental Health / Drug and Alcohol nursing. Sharyn is a mental health and drug and alcohol educator and has provided training to a multitude of professionals such as General Practitioners, Practice nurses, families and clients. Her education facilitation is enhanced by her developed specialist skills in providing primary care and acute care interventions in mental health and alcohol and drugs. 

Sharyn was also the contributing author for "Tears of Hope" a guide for Carers of a person with a substance acquired brain injury" and continues her dedication to the provision of equity of access for Aboriginal patients, family / carer and community, persons who present with complex needs and individuals who experience substance abuse / mental health issues.

Donal McGoldrick

Bio

Donal McGoldrick is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with over 17 years’ experience including senior Mental Health Nurse and management roles in addiction, clinical mental health, forensics and community mental health. Donal worked with VICSERV, the peak body representing community managed mental health services in Victoria where he was the Victorian Statewide Project Manager for a national mental health project.

Donal is also co-founder (with Tung Le) and Director of Kambiri Health Australia that develops and delivers mental health focused training; consulting to State Government Departments; service development consultancy to a number of organisations, including the AFL Players Association, and has established, implemented, delivered and reported on the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program (MHNIP) with a number of organisations in Victoria.

Tung Le

Mental Health Skills Facilitator
Bio

Tung has over 20 years of high level experience in mental health and the alcohol or other drugs sector. Tung has worked as a Senior Mental Health Nurse and consultant in a variety of clinical settings, held a number of management, project management and service development roles across the public and private sectors. Tung has worked as a Comorbidity Consultant on National Comorbidity Initiatives, Health industry workforce development and managed/facilitated care of Complex Clients and their significant others. Tung has an extensive career in private practice and has continued to apply his expertise and passion to all aspects of work relating to clients with co-morbid drug and alcohol and mental health issues. Tung is fluent in both Vietnamese and English and has a strong, on-going interest in working with the Vietnamese and culturally diverse communities. Tung is currently a member of the Clinical Council to a Victorian PHN.

Tung is a also co-founder (with Donal McGoldrick) and Director of Kambiri Health Australia where he has provided program and service consultation, development and change management and developed and facilitated mental health and alcohol and other drugs education to industries, community services and health professionals.
