Contractors / providers are those who provide clinical services either through contract or via direct employment. APMH Alliance requires all members to fulfil specific credentialing criteria.

All credential information required is mandatory and will enable APMH Alliance to be eligible to submit to various bodies for funding for key mental health grants. It is also a critical component of good governance.

The APMH Alliance website is currently under development to support members and enable faster uploading of information. We will provide each member with an online portal which will house the following:

  1. Member Portfolio which would have: folders for: CPD / Professional registration / police clearances / Insurances / Contracts / invoices
  2. Data and reporting platform. This will be an area where the providers will log their client contact information based on specific data sets. From this data we will extrapolate reports for our funders.

Contractor Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Current AHPRA or AASW registration
  • Police Check
  • Updated curriculum vitae demonstrating skill and experience
  • Certificate of Currency (minimum cover for any one claim of Professional Indemnity $20,000,000/ Public and Products Liability $20,000,000).
  • Working with Children Check (New)
  • Workcover (if applicable)

Additional requirements if applicable

  • Medicare Provider number eligible
  • NDIS registration and provider details

Fee structure:

Contractors are charged an annual processing fee to enable APMHA to continue to provide the infrastructure to ensure streamlined contract management, financial administration and workforce credentialing oversight.

The 2018 rate for this is $100 per annum per Individual contractor and $300 per annum per Organisation contractor. This is invoiced at 1 June of each calendar year to enable you to claim this as a tax deduction quickly.

This also gives you annual full membership to APMHA.

Note: Renewal of contracts require payment of this administration fee.

Employees are exempt from this annual fee.
